“What a great idea,” you say, “How can I help change the chaos-inducing, tree-killing formula for gridlock that is the current East-West LRT plan into an environmentally friendly North-South route that links two major transportation hubs and in the process serves both the lower and the upper city?”
Firstly, don’t forget to vote, and don’t forget for whom you should vote. It really isn’t about me per se, but unfortunately it has come down to me offering up some sense into our collective debate about public transportation. So vote for Henry Geissler.
Secondly, vote often, but if you can’t do that at least tell your friends, relatives, co-workers, and even your enemies to visit this website!
Thirdly, put up a sign. May I suggest you find a sizable piece of corrugated cardboard, use a big black magic marker, and just print Henry, and stick it in your window. Yes, I’m just a working stiff, like most people, and I’m campaigning on a shoestring budget…but it’s the idea, the idea that makes sense. Imagine if these curious signs started appearing all over town, well who knows. Perhaps common sense will prevail and we can save our city from the wasteful fate that currently awaits it. Instead we could have a real energy saving North-South LRT that serves the whole city, without cutting down swaths of trees, linking the GO Train Station and the airport.
